Fist of all a big hello and welcome to the first entry of my Blog! The idea of this is to keep a record of what Jake, Barbara and myself (plus the rest of the family) have been upto, because I have the ability to forget things by the time I make my weekly call back to blighty! This way you can all keep tab on us and our (exciting!) adventures in and around Gleisdorf!!
Little man is sound asleep at the moment, although I'm expecting that to change very soon. Planning on walking onto town today, just to get some fresh air. Barb's due home around 3:30 today, then we have a service for her Grandma at 6pm (who sadly passed away on 25th March) at the cemetry. Her ashes are to be placed into the family grave today so expecting it to be a sad event. I suppose we can all look at it and say this is the final goodbye and we can all (especially Grandad) have final closure to what has been many long and stressful weeks.
Well that's it for the first entry, best get dinner sorted for me and Junior. A nice pot of beef stew for me and a frankfurter for Jake.
